Mari says she chose Photo announce It! because she absolutely loved our portfolio and we were on The beautiful Rusty Pelican in Tampa- vendor's list. The Rusty Pelican sits on the water off of Rocky Point Drive in Tampa. The Rusty Pelican, affectionately known as the "Twilight on Tampa Bay", has been a local landmark in Tamp the Bay area for over 30 years. It features 3 amazing rustic ballrooms that all have a waterfront view of Tampa Bay. Mari and Jeff's ceremony took place at Rusty Pelican's Outdoor Gazebo, surrounded by the friends and family that they loved the most...Can you just image your wedding ceremony taking place outside in the warm sunshine of Florida, feeling the cool breeze from the ocean and the sounds of the waves as harmony, making your wedding day a day that you will never forget? Simply amazing is what we call it! The wedding Reception was held in the Pelican Room which is Rusty Pelican's second largest Ballroom. It comfortably holds 90 guest, with round table seating and dance floor. The Pelican room not only has an amazing waterfront view of Tampa Bay, it also overlooks the Gazebo, how cool is that!
There are lots of amazing hotels and resorts nearby, including The Sailport, which is in walking distance to Rusty Pelican. The Hilton by Doubletree and the Westin of Tampa Bay on Rocky Point have great amenities including waterfront views, excursions like jet skiing and both properties have a Restaurant and Bar. If you are thinking of doing a "First Look" before your wedding ceremony, these hotels are resorts are beautiful both inside and out, which will provide you with a wonderful backdrop for photos. Most of all, thankfully they're nearby, after a long night of partying you'll need a quick oasis to relax and enjoy your new spouse.
